CIty of Kingsport residents may request a free recycling bin by contacting the City of Kingsport Public Works Department – 423-229-9470. Sullivan County Recycling information is available by calling 423-279-2879.

- Indian Springs Elementary School – 333 Hill Rd
- Sullivan Gardens Middle School – 4154 S Wilcox Dr
- Blountville Middle School – 1651 State Route 37
- Piney Flats Volunteer Fire Dept – Industrial Park Dr.
- Holston Valley Middle School – 1717 Bristol Caverns Hwy
- Bluff City Riverfront Park – 4196 Bluff City Hwy
Transfer Stations:
Bristol Transfer Station – 1321 Weaver Pike, Bristol, TN
Kingsport Transfer Station – 1921 1/2 Brookside Lane, Kingsport, TN
Items accepted throughout the year include cardboard, glass, paper, plastic, electronics, motor oil, antifreeze, batteries, propane tanks, paint and tires (5 per household per day).
Note: Paint, motor oil, antifreeze, batteries and propane tanks will not be taken at the Household Hazardous Waste events.
